ProView AR iPad App

Project Overview
Augmented reality app that allows Budget Blinds franchisees to help their customers visualize and see firsthand how a window covering will look in a window in their home. Customers can toggle between a variety of products, features and colors to determine what looks best in their space.
My Contributions
Development Team Management
- Coordinated daily standups, task planning, and sprint reviews.
- Defined technical priorities and helped unblock developers quickly.
- Worked closely with designers and stakeholders to align on functionality and visual details.
User Interface Development
- Designed and implemented an intuitive UI that enables franchisees to:
- Launch AR view instantly
- Browse and filter window treatment products
- Toggle between materials, colors, and styles
- Focused on performance and accessibility for field usage on iPads.
3D Model Integration
- Collaborated with 3D artists to ensure models were optimized for AR performance (polygon count, textures).
- Converted and integrated USDZ models into the app’s AR scene.
- Implemented smooth transitions between models and real-time color/material switching.
Build & Release
- Configured the Xcode build pipeline and provisioning profiles.
- Managed app signing, TestFlight distribution, and production submission.
- Ensured the app passed all App Store guidelines, including AR-specific requirements.
Results
This project combined technical leadership, UI development, and AR integration in a real-world sales tool. By bringing physical products into virtual space, we transformed the way customers experience home design decisions — all from a single iPad.
